My first time eating here was tonight, 7PM on a Saturday night, the place was very busy, but we were seated quickly at a table on the outside patio. The servers were friendly, the pepperoni and sausage pizza was excellent and luckily it was good weather to be eating outside. Very good food, I will definitely stop back here again on my next trip to Michigan.
We really enjoyed the place. I've lived nearby for years and finally went and glad I did. Great family and adult atmosphere with good appetizers (delicious wings), beer, and pizza. Wait staff was busy but on it, as long as you wave them down, cause they're so busy. Eating outside is preferred. Inside feels too crowded. Must return soon.
We called 30 minutes in advance for a table of 9. Walking in we see our Latinos in the kitchen so this makes me happy. We got seated by Brianna. She has a really nice vibe and a good energy and a good server. Her service was fast and the ambience looks good. Heard good things about the food here. Will write more as we just got here. . . everyone was famished after a day outdoors and needed some fresh warm food. Ellie at the counter was extremely accommodating of our large group of 20and joined tables indoors. Mustafa took our orders and did a good job. Pizzas were fresh and tasty. I particularly liked the thin crust pesto pizza. we had some Vegan folks who were glad to hear their pizza dough doesn't contain eggs. overall great experience , if only they maintain their restrooms a tad bit cleaner would give it 5stars.
Solid pizza!!! We ordered the pesto specialty pizza and added sausage. It was excellent, tho maybe too many tomatoes...but I also don't love cooked tomatoes. Love the fresh/raw ones thought, not that you care LoL The crust was what made it for me, it was light and flaky and super tasty. Cooked to perfection! The pie is cut in squares, too, Chicago tavern style. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We sat on the patio, but the inside is kinda lackluster if weather isn't permitting. All in all a great meal and experience.
We had a great meal at Villa Nova! We were able to get in without too much of a wait on Fourth of July weekend. The service was pretty good, considering that they were busy. We sat outside and the putting green was fun! The pizza was tasty -- I was looking forward to the leftovers the next day! We also had a salad, which was pretty standard, nothing special. The BEST part was the cookie! Delicious warm skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream. Perfect casual dinner for a summer night in Michigan!
